Dr. Sydney Radding Honored as a Guardian Angel for Exceptional Patient Care
TidalHealth Foundation is proud to announce that Dr. Sydney Radding has been recognized through the Guardian Angel program, which allows patients and their families a way to honor a caregiver who made a meaningful difference in their healthcare experience.
Dr. Radding was honored following her exceptional care for a patient experiencing a serious medical emergency. After being evaluated in the emergency department, the patient was diagnosed with a perforated abscess on the colon and required surgical intervention. Dr. Radding not only led the successful surgery, but also provided compassionate, thorough communication and care to both the patient and their family throughout the process.
In a heartfelt nomination, the patient’s family member praised Dr. Radding’s bedside manner, attentiveness, and ability to explain complex medical procedures in an approachable way.
As part of the Guardian Angel recognition, a donation was made in Dr. Radding’s honor to the TidalHealth Foundation, where it will directly benefit patients in need across the health system.
Dr. Radding was presented with a Guardian Angel pin to commemorate the recognition.
